Razi, a proud Cum Laude graduate of Harvard University, combines over 15 years of experience in education and creative writing with a deep passion for helping students succeed in the college admissions process. Holding a BA in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, Razi has dedicated more than 1,000 hours to college consulting, assisting students in crafting standout application essays and navigating the intricacies of competitive admissions. As a former Harvard interviewer, Razi offers insider knowledge on what it takes to shine.
Razi’s students have gained acceptance to top-tier universities such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Columbia, Cornell, and the UC schools, as well as earning prestigious scholarships like the Dean’s Scholarship at Northeastern. Their accomplishments reflect Razi’s emphasis on storytelling, guiding students to articulate their unique journeys in ways that deeply resonate with admissions committees. Josh is a summa-cum-laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, with a degree in Political Science and Russian Students and three years of experience as a Penn-trained and certified essay tutor at the university's writing center. Josh specializes in metacognitive reflective writing, a unique style that requests students reflect on how and why they think the way they do. The stories Josh develops are deeply personal, intellectually mature, and creatively one-of-a-kind.

Josh has guided students through successful admission to elite undergraduate and graduate programs, including Harvard, Penn, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Georgetown, and the UC system. His experience spans college essays, personal statements for law and medical school, cover letters and resume-reviews. As a consultant, Josh brings an awareness and sensitivity to the admission process' ingrained anxiety. His first goal is to meet the student where they are, reduce unnecessary stress, and ensure the process is creative, relaxed, and even a little fun.

A former Army infantryman and recipient of prestigious government grants like the State Department's Critical Language Scholarship and Pathways Federal Employment Accelerator, Josh combines discipline with a deep understanding of storytelling. Josh is a trade analyst based in Washington D.C. and a lover of chess, languages, poetry and boxing.​​

Maayan Schoen

Maayan Schoen graduated from Yale University in 2023 with a BA in Humanities. At Yale, she studied writing across several genres, with an emphasis on creative writing, narrative nonfiction, and journalism. During her time at Yale, Maayan served as managing editor for the premier campus political magazine, The Politic, and worked as a peer mentor through the Academic Strategies Program, where she guided students in navigating college challenges and developing the skills needed to thrive academically and personally.
Since graduating, Maayan has leveraged her extensive writing experience to help students craft standout college admissions essays. She has worked as a college essay coach, assisting students in telling their stories in compelling ways that reflect their unique experiences, values, and aspirations, resulting in successful admissions to top-tier universities. Beyond coaching, Maayan has engaged in political ghostwriting for prominent politicians and news outlets and has authored a children’s novel, which she hopes will be the first of a series. Her passion for storytelling and mentorship makes her uniquely equipped to guide students in creating essays that resonate with admissions committees and authentically showcase their potential.
